What to expect during your Visit and other important Facts
Cancellation Policy
As a courtesy to our service providers and guests, we require a minimum of 24 hours cancellation notice. Repeated cancellations or no-shows will not be re-appointed, unless pre-payment is made in advance of their next scheduled appointment.
Groupon, Living Social, Special Discounts and Vouchers If you have a discount voucher (such as Groupon or Living Social), please do not wait until the week before your voucher expires to schedule, as the schedule is usually full, and there may be up to a two week wait for an appointment which will impact the value of your voucher. The cancellation policy applies to ALL appointments, vouchers or not. It is between you and the company you purchased the vouchers from if you change your mind. Please do not ask to substitute services for other than those listed on your voucher. Any expired/unredeemed vouchers are redeemable for the purchase price of the voucher toward spa services.
Arriving Late
Arriving late will deprive you of valuable treatment time. To avoid delaying our next client, your treatment time will end at the specified time regardless of how late you arrive; and depending on the circumstances, you may have to be rescheduled if there is insufficient time to perform the service properly. If your esthetician is running more than 15 minutes late and you were not informed, you will be given a discount on your service for your inconvenience.
Children
Due to insurance regulations, children under the age of 16 are not allowed in the reception room unattended; nor the treatment room unless they are receiving treatments themselves, and must be accompanied by a parent or authorized guardian.
Illness Illness is unpredictable, and we are understanding of those occasions. PLEASE do not come in for a service if you are ill, or if an illness is running through your immediate family. The same courtesy is extended to you - if any of our staff is, or feels ill, your appointment will be rescheduled, and given priority status when being re-appointed. Skinplicity provides soothing treatments, but no service should be construed as, nor substituted for medical care from a licensed medical practitioner. If you are suspect of being ill, or have a communicable infection, by law the esthetician has the legal right to deny services, or reappoint you at a later date.
Cell Phones
As a courtesy to all of our guests and technicians and in order to maintain a relaxing environment, we ask that cell phones, and other electronic devices be turned off or put on vibrate. Certain services such as chemical peels cannot be interrupted, and may affect the outcome of your service and potentially harm your skin.
What to Wear
Please feel free to wear whatever you feel most comfortable in. When receiving body treatments such as waxing, back 'facials' and peels, or SkinClassic treatments, you may want to bring in a clean set of undergarments and relaxed clothing to change into post-service for your personal comfort. Certain therapeutic & brief services (such as acne treatments, lash & brow treatments, express facials and peel series), do not require you to undress and wear a spa wrap. Longer deluxe facial services that include cleansing and treatments of the decollete/upper body/arms & hands/or feet will need to wear a spa wrap, and you can snuggle under the covers and relax.
This is your time and you should delight in the experience to its fullest. Whether it is the amount of facial massage pressure, room and bed temperature, or the volume of music...just ask us!
Jewelry and Valuables
Please leave such items at home, if possible. If you have nose or other special piercings, kindly remove them before your services. Skinplicity is not responsible for lost or stolen personal property.
Gift Certificates
We have many beautifully designed gift certificates available in any denomination, or for specific services and products. Skinplicity will be happy to create a custom-worded certificate at no additional charge - please allow 1 business week for custom certificates. Skinplicity is not responsible for lost or stolen gift cards. Gift cards are not redeemable for cash, and unless specified, and are valid for one year from the date of purchase.
All services are performed by licensed professionals.
We observe the most strict modalities of sanitation in order to protect our clients and our employees. Skinplicity employs additional sanitation protocols that EXCEED those required by law. All laundry and linens are washed on premises in accordance with State requirements.
Walk-Ins and Consultations Everyone is important and deserves uninterrupted one-on-one time. Walk-in inquiries and product purchases are welcome; however if staff is engaged in a spa service, it is recommended you call ahead of time to insure someone will be able to spend time with you . Consultations for all services are free of charge unless otherwise stated.

Methods of Payment Skinplicity accepts cash, personal checks, and most credit cards. There is a $50 upcharge in addition to the cost of the services provided for, for insufficient funds and bad checks/charges. Any illegal payments, or unpaid services will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
Handicapped Accessibility Skinplicity is easily accessible, located on the ground level, along with front-entry curbside handicap parking. Please notify the staff of any special needs or requirements you may have for yourself or a loved one when booking your appointment.
